Nice little program - you can see the collision box as a separate item by default, I like that. You have to get the windows binaries version though unless you want to compile it yourself. I've been using Biturn to do this kind of ASE file transfer, but it's a bit primitive (to put it mildly).

I just discovered this on sourceforge... its a file translation utility that can import a lot of different formats (including .ase) and export them as something else.

http://assimp.sourceforge.net/

It could be useful to import assets that are in the .ase format and export them to a format that is recognized by other modelling software, so you can edit them and then re-export them as .ase files again
edited by PatMarrNC on 31/08/2015

Ahoi!

So I have another question? I noticed another UV MAP I'd like to tweak. This time it's in a .set file. Any ideas on how to export it for tweaking?

Thanks

In the directory with the car ASE model there is a file called id_carro.TGA - you can use that to change the decals on the car. BTW there is nothing in the Muvizu directories that users can change, as far as I know.

Hi All

I downloaded the sports car added by jfespinal

in the assets area from the website. Its very nice but I wanted to change it up a bit. I dove in to all the Muvizu directories thinking I was going to find this little BMP or jpg of the color layout for this car. Needless to say I didn't. So my question is: Where is it? or how can I change it?
