No down here! I'm still loafing around between Lincolnshire and bobbing around on a boat on The Norfolk Broads. Well not so much 'bobbing' as 'sanding, varnishing and restoring'. It's amazing where Muvizu can take you. An interest in making models for Muvizu to make films got me working with 3D and 'building things' which in turn gave me a better understanding of design and construction which was useful in teaching myself woodwork so I could do the work on my boat myself which lead to making films about restoring my boat which has lead back into Muvizu to animate various sections of the films I'm making.

I do pop in from time to time, but until I've finished this restoration my time is severely limited. Almost done...mind I say that every year but there's always one more bit I need to replace. Thankfully my brother in law has become a boating fanatic and has joined the team so things should start moving quicker now!

Agreed! Thanks for the warm welcome. I like that muvizu has an active forum of multi-talents and, from what I can tell, a sense of community. I hope I'll have time to contribute in some way. I'm pursuing a film making certificate at a local community college, starting next week. I have no idea what sort of workload it will be, but the good news is I'll have access to their sound and editing equipment and studio space for recording.

At a time when there are many differences that divide the people of the world, I see value in making a conscious effort to look for areas of common interest while simultaneously choosing to ignore the ways in which we might be different. In this group the common denominators all appear to be our shared focus on creativity. Music, modelling, animation, painting, programming, writing, acting, photography, and I'd guess many more craft related hobbies that didn't get mentioned.

What I find so appealing about creative people is the passion that defines their lives. That's a good thing and it can't be faked. Creative people are always far more interesting to me than anybody else. I'm from northern New Jersey about 15 miles from NYC.

I'm considering making my novel into a video instead of the old self-publising route. (Maybe that's what they call a novel idea? !!)

DAZ and Poser are great tools but they take way to long and demand more resources than I can gather.

I think a Banjo player qualifies as a musician!!! It is nice to learn where everyone is from, and what we have in common. All the musicians should find a way to collaborate on a song. I bet it could be done, then we could have our very own Muvizu theme song for collaboration animations, even if it was for the end credits or opening. Something easy for me to say since I never really got very good at playing an instrument.

I am very sorry to hear about losing a life partner (Pat and Comictude), and watched what my dad went through when my mother died. It is a horrible experience to lose someone you love and share so much with. I have memories of showing my mother cartoons I made on Go!Animate, and she was definitely my best audience, and just thinking about it makes me smile. She was definitely my best friend, and even after 4 years I still want to call her up every day.

What types of stories did you write Comictude? I would like to be able to start and finish writing one book, but lately am writing math curriculum for Geometry, and hopefully it will benefit students who struggle with the subject.

It seems we have people who live in areas with the most rain on this forum, and then I live where I watch the rain clouds pass by. Finally this year we are having more rain then in a long long time, so it is making a difference.

I'm very impressed that you've written so many books since retiring! That's quite an accomplishment!

There are definitely hurdles to overcome with this product, but its still amazing what can be done with it if you're clever at workarounds. There are a couple of long standing works-in-process that should be released within the next 6 months, and I know people will be blown away by the quality of these projects.

I'm highly interested in creating 3D and 2D animations for education. I'm going to create a series of short films on how to learn to read for kids. I'm impressed with movizu's animation style and the overall look & feel.
I really love how users interact here in the forum, help each other and offer content for free and how Muvizu enables this spirit. The most important part is that you can see great examples of funny movies made with Movizu. You rarely see things well done in iClone or Animator. In addition they (Reall****) have a very commercial way of pushing content and updates to users. Things rarely work as advertised...
So I rather work with Muvizu, its known limitations and its usage philosophy which lets me concentrate on the story. Love Muvizu and its concept and user interactions in the forum. Thank you.

I am on the edge of state owned land that can not be built on, so that is nice and I have coyotes, bobcats, and migrating birds year round either in my backyard or outside of the fence. So far I have had gopher snakes, king snakes, and scorpions in my back yard, ick. I have had scorpions, lizards, and frogs in my house. You have to keep your eyes open if you live here. I usually check my shoes before I put my feet in them.

We even have White Pelicans show up in our little nearby lake. They are beautiful.

I would enjoy visiting Portugal. I want to see the map near the ocean where all the explorers set sail to find China, and opened up the European race to discover new worlds. That is one of my favorite parts of history.

I live in Oporto region in the north of Portugal. Muvizu is one of my most recent loves. Besides that I love to do so many things that I'm trying to extend day time without success. Drawing, painting, video effects and edition, 3d modelling, programming, comics making, and many others (when i have time).
