I think that I fixed this internally a few weeks ago so it shouldn't happen in the next release.

One 100% reproduction was to draw a path, wait for the character to catch up with the locomotion guide without releasing the mouse button then draw another path and release the mouse... the bug's been closed since 23rd Febuary so it's hopeful that there are no other ways to make it happen.
edited by CrazyDave on 05/03/2012

For me the circles initially started following a straight double click and walk to a point. The circling seemed to get worse when I attempted to delete and then re-record the action. It continued even when I deleted the character instance and replaced it with identical character.

After closing Muvizu and reopening it the problem seems to have stopped and I can't recreate it.

Not too tight but I was testing character movements/actions and had quite a long path that looped on itself several times with the odd small loop. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem yesterday using 0.19b patched.
I read the thread and attempted to produce a video demo but I can't get it to happen now. Have tried all possible walk options including changing them mid walk, in the same environment that produced the bug yesterday.

If it happens again I will definitely make a video to show the problem.

Sorry not to be more help but at least we know it does happen.

Here is an example I uploaded to youtube.
