Hi Alig,

Unfortunately that error also means that you have a graphics card that doesn't meet Muvizu's minimum specifications.

You might want to try the work around that I mentioned in my previous post, but it's not guaranteed to work.

Take care,
-Jim.
edited by glasgowjim on 8/12/2010

Hi CrimsonBronx,

I have posted a possible work around for people with below-spec graphics cards at: http://www.muvizu.com/Forum/topic269-error-msg--first-time-running.aspx#post422

It's isn't guaranteed to work but it's the only way, other than upgrading your card, that your machine will have a chance of running Muvizu.

And please remember that any 3rd party software is used at your own risk.

Take care, and if you try the work-around please let me know if it works.
-Jim.

Hi again CrimsonBronxs,

Most people who have crashed at that point have managed to get Muvizu working by updating their Direct X files.

Even though you have Direct X 10 your PC will still have Direct X 7, 8 and 9 on it - the link I gave you will update your Direct X 9 files to the very latest version which should, hopefully, get Muvizu running on your machine.

Take care,
-Jim.

Hi CrimsonBronx,

Sorry you are having trouble launching Muvizu - updating your Direct X Runtime to the latest version has fixed this issue for some of our users. You can download Direct X from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3

If that doesn't work please let me know.
-Jim.
