Hi Dave,

If you've ticked those boxes and went through with the install, then it might be worth uninstalling and then reinstalling Muvizu and trying again. If you've no luck after a second install with the three ticked (if it asks you to repair your framework, just go through the process) then you can download them directly from Microsoft. Don't worry, it shouldn't cost you anything!

The download links are listed below:

DirectX Runtime - http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35
Visual C++ Runtime - http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=5555
.NET 4.0 Framework - http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=17851

- RB

RB, yes, I did. (Perhaps I've done something to it with overzealous "cleaning"???) Can I/should I re-load it somewhere easily? Is that worth a try?
thanks for quick response, Dave

Hi Dave,

When you first installed Muvizu, did you install the C++ Runtime on the tick boxes that appear during the process? There's a prompt section asking if you want to install the C++ Runtime, the DirectX Runtime and the .Net Framework.

- RB

Hi, new user of Play+. Occasionally get
"Microsoft Visual C++. This app has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way" and Muvizu fails to open. (This at initial attempt to open). When i reboot and try to open again, no problem. Any thoughts/suggestions?
thanks, Dave
