If you're going to use transparencies, you'll need a video editor. Assuming you don't already have one, download Hitfilm Express. Otherwise, which video editor do you use?

Hi
Many thanks for your reply.
I'm not sure how this helps me. I move the character to a new layer and in making the movie I unselected the background.
This gave me a movie with a total black background and not a transparent background.
Have I missed something?

Hi
I've created a simple set with a green screen background.
Is it possible to "make" the video and select the green as a background to get a transparent background in the movie.
If not transparent then to make the movie and specify the background colour as a Alpha channel in the movie file?
Regards
Ian
