Apparently the Intel IV41 codec isn't compatible with a lot of media players - even the versatile ones like VLC and Media Player Classic.

Could you please try recording your video again using a different codec? You can change the codec that you use by clicking on the "Options" button on the "Make Video" screen. If you aren't going to edit the video once you are finished XVid generally produces good results.

Have you tried using an alternative media player? The reason that I am asking is that Windows media player has difficulty playing some .avi files if you don't have a codec pack installed.

You can download VLC from:

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

VLC can play almost anything, so it's a pretty handy piece of kit.

Alternatively you can download the K-Lite Codec pack from:

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/k_lite_codec_pack.htm

That will make most videos work in your existing Media players, but it also includes Media Player classic as well.
