Glasgow, UK, February 04, 2013 MeshMellow, the creators of Muvizu, the Glasgow-based, fast 3D animation tool powered by epic’s Unreal 3 game engine, are happy to be on board as sponsors of the Glasgow Youth Film Festival for the 3rd year running.
Muvizu is the fast, easy to use, sophisticated and powerful 3D animation tool that allows anyone with a bit of imagination; from amateurs to professionals, create high quality animations quickly. Muvizu allows users to light sets, direct customised characters, create props and use special effects to create animated magic. This amazing application can be used for anything, from supporting a creative idea to communicating a message.
MeshMellow are proud to once again sponsor the Glasgow Youth Film Festival (GYFF) for the 3rd year running. For 5 years, the Glasgow Youth Film Festival has operated as an independent strand of the Glasgow Film Festival focusing on bringing quality cinema and art to the youth of Glasgow. Highlights include a special preview of Disney's Wreck-it-Ralph, an outdoor screening of Girl Walk All Day and that’s not all! The cast and crew of Channel 4’s Fresh Meat will be at GYFF for a special masterclass and Q&A. The Glasgow Youth Film Festival is the only festival in the UK programmed by 15-18 year olds and is a fantastic way to introduce young people to the world of film. It is Europe’s most innovative film festival for young audiences. Digimania is proud to support our home city and the GFT in their fantastic work.
Barry Sheridan, Managing Director of MeshMellow, the makers of Muvizu, says: ‘ Supporting the arts and cinema in our home city means a lot to us. As fans and frequenters of the GFT, we’re happy to once again be part of GYFF this year.’
