I customized his shirt to give him a Trump-like tie and of course the "Trump t-shirts" of his supporters as well.

The most time-consuming part was animating just about every member of the audience at various points. I'm not sure how many characters one can have in (or animated in) a scene at a time, but I had upwards of 30 present, most of whom performed actions at least several times.

Haha, anyway, nice video and no, it's no fun animating crowds. I've found the "Random" action button can help a little anyway.

I will keep the "random" action button in mind, although in this particular case it might have caused some problems as I had the crowd packed pretty close together - I ran into a number of instances where the hands of one character passed through the body of another, which I was trying to avoid

That'll be me then Thanks Farscaper (loved that show) - I believe I hold the record for the number of characters in one set. 134, I think it was. The only thing I can really tell you, MovieGuyTed, is that you shouldn't try to put 134 characters into one set. Bloody stupid idea Big Grin

The timeline lag got so bad after I'd done half the characters head movements I had to green screen half of them at a time to get it to work. It's the lag that kills you, not really the number of characters. Mind you, this was done in a much older version of Muvizu, so it might not be so bad now.

Posts: 1786 		although they used cgi 3d to enhance this they also used non 3d methods to make more people and stuff. If the pro's dont do it I think greenscreen is probably okay LOL



I remember when you were using large crowds but really the way to do it is make one or two crowds or more (in layers) and then green screen em together instead of making 300 avatars in one set

but if you like a challenge I guess to see how many you can make before your pc blows up

That is some advice that I definitely plan to follow! Things were already starting to behave a bit glitchy with the 30 or so characters I was working with

Posts: 1988 		It was a theatre seating model I downloaded from 3D Warehouse (for Sketchup). I couldn't find that particular model again, but it was similar to this one : https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model.html?id=1c4c1165e8abbb68379c8b0babe54ffe

Bring it into Muvizu with low collision, make non visible ground planes for the characters to sit on, and you've got your seats. Hope that helps.
