I been thinking of doing a jurassic pack for the store, but before I do, I have to ask, what would you pay for a pack of this kind, what kind of Dinosaur would you like to see in its contents, also do you think this would be a good asset to muvizu, I need to know these things before I really consider this task of creating this pack.

that's a question you're not likely to get get answered easily. How would anyone know what they're willing to pay for a product that doesn't exist yet? Or how many characters it includes? Or of what quality?

Generally speaking, I think its true that if people want it, they'll pay whatever you ask for it. If they don't want it, they won't even DL it for free. If you make it for your own use, put it in the store and get a few sales at whatever price, you have some money you didn't have before. Some people will wait until they're ready to start a project that requires dinosaurs, and THEN buy it.

On the upside, there's no expiration date on items in the store. You make it once and sell it many times (unlike physical products that have to made for each and every sale). Once there, it could be bought by multiple waves of new users who are seeking new content. So you can't really evaluate the earnings potential based on the short term.

That's a actual picture of the raptor I'm working on in muvizu, the fonts I really can't remember where I got them, I just Googled them and found it that way.

this video shows a real world example of how to put a character inside a dinosaur attachment to make it move. Note that the actor's legs are plainly visible, but everything else about the T-rex is so over the top that nobody stops to notice the details.

basically the same as Ike's t-rex:

1) the suit is bigger than the actor inside it
2) t-rex feet are attached to the actors feet
3) everything else is just a suit/attachment

I guess if a person were to use the same concept as the japanese T-rex suit (with the core character's legs visible)... the core character could be colored green so anything sticking out could be green-screened away in the video editor

Yea I have tried that, but whenever the raptor turned or walked, the green screen effect would cut out parts of the legs and tail, since the core character's leg are greened anything behind them would be invisible as well, now this method could work if you made the core character's legs black and go with a dark scenery then they wouldn't be noticed, but not everyone would always want a dark scene, so I'm trying to accommodate to suit both day and night, and it's not easy!

Well, good luck Clay. I gave up on these workarounds for custom characters, because there is always issues. I'm waiting for a fully customizable character.

the custom characters are very cool... inspiring even. But they are harder to use, and there's no doubt that a professionally designed character that works right out of the box would be a very cool addition to the lineup.

I'm keeping my fingers toes and eyes crossed.

But the way you and Clayster think outside the box is a real testimony to your problem solving ability and intellect, and I hope neither of you ever stops innovating.
