Well, it's not exactly Vera Wang, but you can make a wedding dress of sorts from the assets in the program. (That's the buccaneer top and the harlequin gloves.) If you make everything white, it reads kind of bride-y. I just wish there was a way to make that skirt longer. You could also mod her torso to have a necklace or lacy sleeves. I didn't think to give her earrings.

Posts: 1988 		Nice work Mindi, and the dress should be longer but the physics don't work right so it sits up on her hips like that (always has done, they've never fixed it). There is a wedding 'hat' for the potato heads, but Heroine can't use it.

Posts: 1738 		seems like a high-demand item that would be worth somebody's time to develop for the store. These days, Youtube Videos are the new greeting cards. As the average person learns to use software like Muvizu, most of them don't become indie movie makers.. most of them make silly videos for friends and acquaintances, many of which end up serving the same approximate function as greeting cards.

With that thought in mind, a quick visit to a Greeting card store reveals that assets for birthdays, weddings, graduations, baby showers, new jobs, anniversaries, retirements and other common life events would probably be desirable assets for everyman's video projects.

Taking the idea a step further, if your set is pre-animated like a template, and people just need to buy it and customize a few details to use it as their own "custom animation"... all the better! People will pay for convenience.

It has been said that the core purpose of Facebook is IMAGE CRAFTING. People present themselves there as they want to be perceived. Give them a way to be seen as creative. People have been buying their image for eons, and if you help them to have the image they want, they will pay. Its the same reason why malls charge more for clothes than the thrift stores charge.

I wonder, would it be possible to make a longer skirt that moves like cloth, and then import that as a belt? Or would it then not move right, or have some other problem?

Posts: 1988 		The only models we can import into Muvizu are static - no physics allowed FBX would, in theory, allow this but only if they 'unlocked' it. So you could have a much longer skirt model (like the maternity dress model), but when she walked her legs would poke through.

Posts: 1738 		if you need that look, there are other animation programs that will let you create and animate soft cloth apparel.. Poser is one. You can make the gown (or buy one.. Poser has been around long enough that a ton of 3rd party accessories are available for it.. just about anything you could hope for. But.. not free. )

Anyway, once you buy or make the dress, you can animate your bride in Poser and export a green screen which can be merged into your Muvizu project at the final edit.

While that would be a clever solution, I gotta admit that sounds like a lot of work just for a longer skirt! I suppose for a wedding dress you could import a big white bell shape and pass it off as an old-fashioned hoop skirt, and maybe for other "stiff" skirts like tutus you could get around the lack of cloth movement. Someday soon I gotta do some experimenting with that.

What I'd most like to see is more clothing options for the hero characters, and to get Sinister out of his default Mr. Burns pose! The heroes can be used for "normal" people a lot better than the potato heads, but they have these limitations that really hold you back. (It just seems weird to me that Sinister doesn't have a normal business suit, but Beefy does! I guess they were convinced we'd never want these characters for anything but superhero stories, but even then there might be times when you'd want your supervillain to wear a suit, like if he was a Lex Luther-kind of bad guy.)

Posts: 1738 		you could probably get away with a non-soft cloth model for a wedding dress.. they tend to be kind of unwieldy anyway. As long as the bride wasn't doing a lot of walking, her legs would probably stay inside the dress. That would be a fairly easy model to make
