The new beta is absolutely amazing! So much movement (I do love the windmill guitar!!!)

I know you've been talking about updating the face movements for a long time, but an additional thing is extra facial animations. Some that came to mind, and that I could have used in the past...

Whistling, dropped jaw, grin, poking out tongue.

Could be (again!) they already exists and I've not seen them - I'm good at that.

Respects!

There are no facial animation features yet other than the built in expressions that appear when you change the overall animation mood of a character

It's something that has been asked for before and hopefully will be looked into more closely in a future version although I thing the muvizu gods will have their hands full for a version or two due to work required to update the unreal engine. (so we've been told)

cheers

Doesn't surprise me, Dreeko - the whole system is an incredible beast and I think they've done miracles!
I'm happy to wait.

There is the eye movements, but other facial animations, it's something I rekon they will do one day.
I wonder if they have to apply it separately to each character type? So the more character types they add perhaps then it's more work to introduce things like this, perhaps, or maybe not?

I reckon it varies. most characters have the same eyes, so they must be pretty swappable. Hats must be fairly swappable, only you can't give a Blob the full size horns.
Scary thought actually...

Bet there's some complicated voodoo going on in your big baby of a product that gives your developers a headache sometimes Angry Mob (i'm involved in a big C# project and if it's anywhere near as complex as that...)

Anyways back to topic, face animations would give so much to the subtlety that could be acheived and to show delicate emotion.

I'd bet a tener they will do it within the next couple of years
