Hi eddierose, sorry you are having trouble.

The most likely explanation is that your firewall is blocking Muvizu.exe from the internet - could you please try adding C:\Program Files\Muvizu\Binaries\Muvizu.exe (or C:\Program Files(x86)\Muvizu\Binaries\Muvizu.exe if you have a 64-bit version of Windows) to your list of allowed programmes?

Take care,
-Jim.

Can I quickly check that you're putting the right information into the right place as there are two places where Muvizu asks you for a username and password and it might not be immediately obvious.

1) The "Log in" button at the top of the screen is to log into your Muvizu account. Currently this has only one benefit, it lets you use any assets (pictures, audio) you've uploaded to the website in Muvizu without importing them. The details you provide here are the username and password you use to login to this website and forum.

2) The "Upload to YouTube" dialog box is to log into your YouTube account. This is more commonly used as it's the simplest way to get your video onto YouTube and eventually into the Gallery section of this website. The details you provide here are your YouTube username and password, which are likely to be different.

Just had a look at this - looks like it is indeed a bug.
I've passed the info on to the developers, hopefully they can fix it soon.
There's no major loss of functionality here - as Neil mentioned, the log in option only allows you to access your assets from the website.
If you can log in to the website, you can find the asset then - if it's an image, you can right click on it to save it. If it's audio then click the download button. It's not ideal, but it's a workaround until we can get this fixed.

Sorry about that.

Hi Dwino,

The assets are available on your profile page, theres a link next to your username on the top right hand side. It is only your own assets that you've previously uploaded that you can download.

Have a look at http://www.muvizu.com/Gallery/ 3D Asset section - we've a few hurdles to over come before asset sharing is complete. So at this point in time the login option from the application is not feature complete, it's there as a framework that will allow us to build on asset sharing in the future, but for now it only allows access to your own images and audio files.

For the time being - as Emily said - you just need to download your assets from the website

Jamie.

Okay, sorry, that's not what I was looking for or getting at then.

The program itself says to login and more textures and what not will be available? I've logged in way in the past and I could not find additional textures in the software program. Now I can't even log in.

So what's the bottom line here? Are there extra textures available or not?

And...what's the status on being able to/not being able to log in?

Thanks
