Application does not open Hello,

I have downloaded this software and everything was successful, the application worked and ran smoothly the first time it was downloaded, however once i closed the application, it doesn't open again. I click the icon to open it but nothing happens. In order to open it i have to re download and this has caused me great trouble. please help
