Hows Performance in the up and coming release Just wondering if you guys solved the Performance issues that was present in 0.19b
I'm really hoping muvizu 64bit will be useable on the new up and coming release.

Anywayz here is a comparison of my experiences using the current and previous 32 and 64 bit versions. All testing was done using the same scene.

Sorry I couldn't give you a more accurate reading. I couldn't find how to call stat fps in muvizu. Is the console disabled in muvizu ?

Gun_in_Hand Being able to import an attachment object with the offset options avalible would be cool in future versions. The systems already there for guitar mic and drumsticks. Even better would be the option to attach to any bone on the character. We could make are own mask and hats as well as object to hold.

Problems uploading / commenting on videos The Private one is delete it think. The first time it uploaded a wrong version. So made it private till I uploaded the correct version.
This should be the only version up on youtube now.

Here is a picture of the two upload buttons I see. I used the top one and then skipped the second when prompted.

I am not Michael Caine You should make yourself a voice reel sometime, showning off a collection of voices and impersonations that you can do.
I know A few people that do this and get alot work from their voice acting reels on youtube.

You do good wide range of voices man from what I heared in your videos. It might be worth your while putting yourself out there sometime as a services.

Problems uploading / commenting on videos Hello
It's been awhile since I've uploaded. But last night I uploaded a video and their was two upload sections on the same page asking for browse for video location with an upload button.
I used the top one that showed a progress bar updating. After the video finished, it said something like your video was successfully uploaded to youtube. But than ask for the second upload video bit. which I skipped.

I didn't get why it wanted it uploading twice if the first was successfully.
Has the process changed because my video has shown on youtube but not the site yet which I know can take awhile, but it got me worried because I skipped the second upload request if you know what I mean.

Thanks

I hope this all made sense LOL

I'm not able to reproduce that John. What version are you using? 32 or 64bit? Did you change anything on the object before saving or do anything else with it such as direct object movement or object properties?

Sorry Jamie for late reply.

I was using the previous version when that happend, Sorry for the mix up. I just tryed the latest build and the set saves fine now with the bomb in the scene. I guess whatever the problem was. its fix now.

Hi jamie

I can still send u the original set file that I tryed to import if thats of any help.

Yeah, if you send it to us John I'll take a look and see I can figure anything out with it. Good luck with the new video!

Jamie, Heres the set file I tryed to open in the new version and it was super slow even if I delete all the lights n that. In the previous version it runs absolutely fine. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8895693/DarkNinja_ep2_Part02_t2.set

I tryed loading my set that was made in the previous version before v0.19b. It worked but it moved at a majorly slow frame rate. I delete all lights and 90% of statics just leaving the barebones of the room and it remain the same slow frame rate. To fix I had to copy the statics and then create a new set and paste in and rearange. This fixed the frame issue and it became fast again but now I couldn't press the record button to record any events.

hi John,

Can you send us the set file? We'll try to work out what has caused the slower performance with it. I think your second issue is one of the known bugs with the UI - sometimes it freezes up a bit. I think if you save your work and restart Muvizu the record button should work again. CTRL-Space should also work if the timeline recorded is frozen. There is a work around that is a little hit and miss as well. If you close the direct mode (whatever feature you are trying to record for) and go to the timeline and directly back to the direct mode you want to use it should unfreeze the timeline recorder there but, as I said, this is a bit hit and miss and might take a few attempts. Your probably better saving your work and restarting Muvizu.

Feedback Thread - v0.19b release (January 2012). A few things I found.

Seems import texture reconverts to a lowres version.I tryed adding a texture to a background wall. The original texture size was 1024x512 and it converted it to 512x256 by the looks of it. Is way to pixelated to use.
