windows 8.1 crash I upgraded win 7 -> win 8 ->win8.1 and updated my graphics drivers to 8.1 64 bit support.
I THINK it ran on win 8 before I went to 8.1.

PLAY + features I notice someone mentioned animated character textures in a forum post. Is that part of PLAY or just PLAY+? Which leads onto - Is there a full feature set written down anywhere for each version?

(Normally for new releases of software there'd be some release notes or a change log)

Ta,
Simon

How to record normal voices, silly voices? There are a number of programs out there to manipulate sound.
I use Audacity, which is a bit technical - that is to say you can get a whole bunch of filters but you probably need to experiment or use google to get what you're after (but it is free!)
Easiest thing is to adjust the pitch and speed - you can get something quite different just using that.

Hope that helps,
Simon

Character leaning on object and pushing it Leaning: Off the top off my head you could lean the wall and use the right camera angle to make your character appear to be leaning.

Pushing: Maybe use the 'object' action?

Muvizu:Play (V1.0) Feedback I have a similar problem I've already reported whereby it complains about the wrong format - even though it's a Muvizu generated movie I'm trying to import!

Crash! Rendering thread exception Switched back to Muvizu from another program.

Muvizu:Play 1.0 timeline discussion (Possible re-post - cannot find the original)
When I try to reset the track of one of my character's audio Muvizu locks up and I get the Windows <Program> not responding message. Windows 7 64bit home premium. Latsest Muvizu 64bit.
The set is the recently uploaded sahb set and the character is Alex.

New website feedback thread I uploaded a set (to support the reset track issue) and got a verification message but the set's not there (sahb.set). Is it being moderated or ...?

Muvizu:Play (V1.0) Feedback On the subject of loading, if I try to import a muvizu avi into a backdrop I get "This file is in an unknown format".

Help from the Muvizu Brains Trust I would have thought this was an ideal opportunity to brush off that avatar of yours and get him to do the on-camera shots.
You could either try to get him to fit in with the actual shots or do one of those picture-in-picture thingies.
That way you can record the audio to fit the shots and fill the presenter in afterwards.

Hope that helps,
Simon

Blog - link missing? Not sure what a screen capture will show you but here you go: http://sdrv.ms/11qip6x

Tab seems to work everywhere else on the page.

Animating properties smoothly This topic was raised a whole ago - but I had another thought about how to improve it.
So this may be, say, the intensity of a fire or the field of view of a camera.
It's difficult to move a properties along a scale. Either use the slider and pretty much always get a jump or use the up down arrows which you need to keep bashing to achieve any movement.
For properties that have a scale could we have a couple of default keys to move the slider along and make use of the built in auto-repeat (as we do for movement)? A slider speed (like for rotation speed) would allow more precise control.

Keep up the good work chaps!!

FYI, I'm using Firefox 19.2.

I'm not able to reproduce this problem either. I'm using FF 20.0.1 - maybe its an issue with 19.2?

I have the same issue on 20.0.1 (and on a different box)

Do you have a publicity for me ! So my guess is he wants a fake advert he can dub into French.
I seem to recall something about probitocs and of course there's Dreeko's various gadget announcements (not sure how well the humour translates though)
