Muvizu is a joy Yeah, definitely using linear, the automatic give unpredictable results, maybe I need more practice, but I won't be doing the fly around the characters like that, more cameras, more cuts, simplest movements possible. I was mostly trying to see if I pull off the larger environment feel, that's a challenge IMO, I want cinematic drama I want a big world. I'll try getting more control over the automatic keyframes though, but if they had ease in ease out interpolations I would be in love. That's what the camera really needed to get the movement I want.

Muvizu is a joy Well, this is my first test of the MP4 output, but you can see the sort of scenes I'm after with this. I think it looks OK but the set is unfinished, no birds, no music... but Muvizu really is letting me get what I want across. I need to use more cameras but hey, I don't think it is half bad.

And I just watched that, the compression is horrible! I'll try some other settings... and.... new version is up.

Muvizu is a joy I'd like more access to the nuts and bolts while simultaneously making the app even easier for everyone. I think that can be done Sometimes the challenges are in the work arounds. Maybe they could make a list of the most popular/necessary workarounds and streamline those things. I noticed today Sony has some animation tool for the PS4 out, I think this market is going to be pretty competitive very soon, Valve's animation tool is getting going too. Which I guess to a degree results in me making feature requests like a madman, I just want Muvizu to be competitive and maintain a healthy development. I'm wondering if a 2.0 with a newer engine is in the works.

More walk cycles! It would really be great to have more walk cycles, like elderly, proud, slow, short steps, sexy, etc. I previously asked for pivot point in walks, but something more controlled would be best, we can't make it so we rely on the developers. Thanks for listening.

Muvizu is a joy I come here to ask questions and to make requests, and I thought maybe some praise is due. I love working in Muvizu, it is a joy more than a chore unlike most other animation tools. And with its flexible layered output, it is pretty easy to get around some of its limitations. Not to blow my own horn but I often find the scenes I'm making rather stunning. As long as I think they are, that's enough. Thank you to all the Muvizu team members, you brighten up my life every single day.

Loop the timeline? Is it possible to set the playback to loop based on the region selection? In recording as well as playback? If not this is a feature request Big Grin

ease in/ease out interpolations for keyframes Making smooth movements with the keyframes feature is very difficult without ease in/ease out interpolations, like when a camera starts moving, or changing directions during it. PLease add that to your list if it isn't there, it would really enhance this feature.

Pinning timeline persistence. I edited it because apparently Muvizu is doing what I just asked for (keeping the timeline scale) I think that is fairly new, no? I feel like was just struggling with it.

Pinning timeline persistence. Please make the pinning stick across the different areas of Muvizu app, so when you leave directing it is still visible. Thanks for listening!

Hesh

Yeah, I know, I was saying that perhaps he was looking for 4k and didn't know the dimensions. It isn't listed as UDH or 4k.

You can see it glitched out at one point but I think that was just me messing around with my computer while it was trying to render.

Something is wrong with your process, the video isn't 360, just fisheyed. The MZ demo lets you look around from the center where the camera is located.

Edit: if I launch it in YouTube directly it works.

Nope, it doesn't say 4K just 3840×2160.

Mine only goes to 1080

What video card do you have? That may be the thing, CUDA enabled start about at my GTX750. If the video card doesn't support it, maybe Muvizu blocks the option.

You can actually render in 4k?!
I'll have to try this out when my 360 test finishes! (I imagine my GPU will have a fit)

I had a HUGE scene too, it rendered fine, but the whole UI crawled, I thought it would crash. Have patience and a cup of tea while waiting and just leave it alone. It didn't help that I had Poser, Blender, Clip Studio, Chrome, IE and stickies all loaded at the same time. I'm sure if I rebooted and opened only Muvizu I could get better performance, but I'm an idiot.
My machine also didn't play the clip that smoothly, but again, I didn't free up resources. For my needs, I see me rendering a scene that I want the freedom to crop and pan through later in editing, so I will use it for that when appropriate. And for taking screen grabs in the highest def.

Feature request: Screenshots from any camera. It would be really great to be able to grab a screenshot in full render resolution from any camera at any point in the timeline. I am using a one second render to get these frames now, which is wasteful and more involved than it needs to be. I am using these to create my storyboards and set camera angles, but it would also just be helpful for anyone wanting a screenshot from their cameras and not the editor, which won't save the camera effects like DOF etc.
