  • I have an audio file I've imported into my muvizu project. It is for VO. I assigned it to a character and then turned lip sync to none. BUT...I can't control the start and end time of audio clip. Watched tutorials and older version had option. But?!!

    • ....but newer version has none that I can see. I just want a piece of the audio file I imported. Should be simple enough to control start and end time's on file but as mentioned can't see any. Must I clip it outside of muvizu? That would seem odd.

    • Yep, you have to clip it in audacity or another audio editor. Muvizu only has options to lipsync or not lipsync. (Rather than actually crop the audio)

    • So....if I'm importing 2 sets of recorded dialogue to lip sync a conversation between 2 characters - I must edit each characters dialogue piece seperately so i can go back and forth to direct a conversation? For some reason I missed that. Confused.

    • Seems like a lot of unnecessary work in audacity or whatever. Chopping up each sentence or whatever for a back and forth conversation. Some responses are only one word responses. You saying I must import all these seperately eh?

    • Try upgrading to the latest 1.7, it fixed my audio issues, I don't think it is your error.

    • Character A: "hi, how are you?" (import into muvizu this seperate audio file)
      Character B: "good, and you?" (import into muvizu as a seperate audio file)
      Character A: "So...." (import seperate audio file).
      Character B: "So....what?" (import this file

    • So once you've done this, you import it into Muvizu and get both characters to lipsync to it. Then you direct the talk/shush for each character.

  • Key-framing question: Is there a way to control the movement speed of the camera along with the SMOOTHNESS. When I chose DIRECTED option when I prepare camera - i have these options. But not with key-frame so far as I can see. Is there option in kf?

    • The speed is defined by the spacing of the keyframes in physical space, which is an odd way of doing it but it does work. So, to slow down the camera you'd move the keyframes closer together, drag them apart to speed up. Hope that makes sense :)

    • Hey Ziggy is there an easy way to use key frames to have the camera begin the keyframe with a close up on a character and then keep keyframing around the charcters head 360 degrees to complete a rotation around the head and end it where 1st KF began?

    • The camera would always need to be adjusted to make sure it is aimed at the head at all times throughout rotation.

    • You could probably do this using the freeform keyframes but making at least 4 points in equally divided spaces, but it might actually be easier to direct the camera with the rotation point in the centre of the character's head.

    • There are three little icons for step, smooth and linear, I would insert another keyframe and move that around, it should give you some control of speed that way.

    • How would I do that exactly braj. Can you please just be a little more specific as to how I can accomplish this. I hear what you are saying about adding key frame but just not sure on how to fully realize it. Sorry - just a newbie lol

  • Just purchased some new content. Key-Frame tool and a couple packs zombie etc.. Purchase went smooth but when I upgraded with my license I keep getting this W4 Error. Support is away for weekend. Anyone - help? I've done all troubleshooting tips.

      Same thing happened when I bought program.

    • Have you tried restarting your router or disabling your firewall/antivirus. If neither of these things work I think you might be stuck until Monday, I'm afraid.
