This is a real headscratcher.

I've just downloaded and installed the smaller version of Muvizu, and it seems to be running (according to Task Manager and Process Hacker), but there's no GUI at all.

Any tips as to what I should be looking for, or what troubleshooting process I can use?

Hi,

Does your machine meet these specs? :- http://muvizu.com/System-requirements

If so, what sort of Graphics card do you have and are the drivers are up to date?

Cheers.

Thanks for coming back on this!

I seem to have a borderline spec. Not sure what 'Graphics card with “Shader model 3”' means. Don't know if I've got latest drivers.

Operating System: Windows Vista™ Business (6.0, Build 6002) Service Pack 2
System Manufacturer: Acer
System Model: TravelMate 7520
Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
Memory: 2046MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Display Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT

I believe Muvizu say that RAM is a major consideration. It may just be the 2Gb and if you could upgrade that to say 4 it may work, also may be worth checking out this site for updates drivers for your card:- http://www.official-drivers.com/installer/?seed=ati&gclid=CJKC-eOa1rsCFWlT4godVWsAjg

Also try running "DXDIAG" at a command line and posting the output file here, it may give a clue or two.

Have done the DXDIAG thing (to get the earlier results) and if I read correctly, I have version 7 of my graphics driver - whereas AMD seem to have a version 12 as their latest. So I think I'm onto that as well.
