Posts: 1738 		1) click on the character to give him/her the focus...

2) from the main menu, click PREPARE > CHARACTER ACTIONS

3) Click on any one of the 9 boxes that appears, and a list of choices will be presented

4) select the mood of the character (happy, sad, angry etc), and appropriate actions for that mood will populate the list

5) scroll down to find WAVE (the 41st option under the HAPPY mood)

6) click on it to add it to your set of 9 possibilities

7) switch to DIRECT

8) start recording...

9) at the point in the recording when you want the wave to begin, click the WAVE command you saved to the 9 position option box

10) its a good idea to also have IDLE as one of the 9 positions, because a lot of actions loop indefinitely once you start them, and they won't stop until you click IDLE

...and do not worry if you cannot get the actions recorded precisely where you want them -

because you can always adjust them on the timeline afterwards (go to Tools Timeline or Ctrl+T ) and simply move the actions.
