A year ago when I bought Muvizu plus I remember being able to output to MP4 using FFSDSHOW, this format allowed me to easily edit the outputted file. Now Muvizu plus only export/output to AVi. I have installed all the necessary codecs but NO MP4. I can separately convert it to MP4 but its there any way to directly export/output to MP4?

Probably not. I much prefer the loss less AVI codec they recommend, then I bring the result s into a video editor and adjust, ad titles etc. then re-encode it as whatever I want. Even inexpensive editors like Corel Videostudio have lots of output options, including MP4

Valero, I think it might have something to do with which version you're using - the 64 bit version only gives me 4 codecs, even with the k-lite codec packs installed (and one of the codecs is Uncompressed, which doesn't even count!). The 32 bit version gives you tons of codecs to choose from by comparison. This is why I use TGA sequences as my output, then convert them into whatever I need through Sony Vegas. You can also use Virtual Dub to do the same thing (I have seen), and VD is free... actually, that's not the best initials to have, Virtual Dub... Big Grin

Thanks for your explanation ziggy72 I think I recall this workaround and it makes sense now. I'm using Adobe After Effects CS6 with H.264 and output of HD 720p 29.97 to get the most beautiful MP4.
I'm satisfied now.
