Delete one block, All are gone. Ah I see.

I stopped following that thread after you said "the bug that Dreeko is experiencing with the timeline as I promised him in-person that it would be fixed for the next release." I assumed you meant that you were about to prevent all events being stripped with the fixed release (.14b) on the 29th, since the deletion of all events was what was in the .13b release. I should have kept up with that thread.

I understand you wanting to avoid bad practice. However, I have to join Dreeko and others then, it's too bad that the "bug" is no longer in favor.

Can you tell me what you mean by a way finder? I think I know, but I bet there is more than one way to do it. Honestly, the best thing is to have a type of Graph Editor available to users. If that's what you mean by a way finder, then I'm all for it.

By the way when you delete a keyframe from the Graph Editor in Maya or a similar program, Maya interpolates between the keyframe previous to the deleted keyframe and the keyframe following the deleted keyframe. So I can't say I agree with the statement "the system basically assumes the correct movement path to go between 2 blocks is bad practice."

Delete one block, All are gone. (I'm moving this here and giving this one its own topic.)

I was just toying with moving an object in .14b last night, and it seems the object movement bug still persists.

The bug where if you delete the first animation in a string of several animations all the following animations will be deleted, still seems to be there. Anyone else experience this, or does it work for you? Please confirm one way or the other.

I assumed this was addressed in the latest release (29th). If it was addressed, my Muvizu updated through the software over the internet, would a clean install get the fix in?

Animations Characters do while Creating Them Are the animations that happen when you edit the character appearance available in the actual animations?

For example when you put glasses on a character they touch their face. When you put on new shoes, they look down at their feet. Can you do this within the actual timeline animations?

If not, why? Will it be possible?

Thanks!

Fancy Credits Credits...what is your 3rd party app of choice outside of premiere to create fancy credits? Or do you do things right in Premiere?

Thanks.

Current Codec Trend and Workflow...? Thanks Barry!
So the Muvizu TGA+wav is built in to .13b? Or do I have to install it off the internet somewhere?

Finally, if anyone has a spare moment for a screenshot(s) of the final output screen(s) from Vegas or Premiere I would be thankful. Somtimes figuring the final settings are like working through a tax form.
Thanks!

Current Codec Trend and Workflow...? Hello everyone,

If you have a moment, please let me know...

1. What is the current trend in codecs for Muvizu?

2. The basic procedure is to install the codec off the internet and then it will be an option in the Muvizu dropdown, correct?

3. After you have your Muvizu movie exported, what are some people's settings for video output from either Vegas or Premiere?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Modding Thanks.

Modding Do you have plans to allow users to mod items like the geometry of hair or neck features? (For example if I wanted to add butterflies or bones to hair, neck or ears)

Is it possible to do that now? To somehow alter the character features by tinkering with the upk files through an outside program.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Directing animation block by block Good idea.

Multiple Versions of Muvizu on Computer I asked this in the comments of the announcement page for the new Muvizu version. I soon realized it was better to ask it here.

Is it possible to keep the last version of Muvizu installed on a computer without overwriting it and therefore the new/bleeding edge Muvizu in a separate file directory?

Thanks.

Keep in time Then there's also the third option of Muvizu creating 3 speeds to every animation (fast, medium, slow) installed into the package in the first place. This would not be customizable, so it might not perfectly fit everyone's needs.

Smaller Head Movements Thanks barrys. And freakmoomin for tips in the meantime.

Also, down the road hopefully a Muvizuer can have the option to set guides as to the way the head moves: On arcs or linear.

Whether shallow or very apparent arcs are usually there for the animation to look natural and good. There might be a quick linear darting look, but generally there are arcs.

Smaller Head Movements It would be very helpful if there could be a Head animation mode that was a smaller range of motion.

I find it's difficult sometimes to do head animations, the head is almost too sensitive and can easily be cranked too quickly to an extreme looking too far to the left or up.

More subtle turns or nods would be a great second head animation mode. Thanks.

What actions would Muvizuers like to have? I have some animation suggestions. Two types:

One is some more physical or functional animations that do not have a mood along with them. Let me know if any of these already exist by the way, but it would be helpful to have animations like crawling, kneeling, squating, perhaps scooping with hands, climbing, throwing something, pulling pushing, etc. And yeah it would be great, like walks, to do a functional animation in a sad way or a happy way or just the standard neutral way.

The second type is to mix facial moods with body moods. It would be great to have a body that is shaking and clearly afraid, while the character is putting on a brave face. Or a positive posture, but sadness in the face.

That's all, I appreciate you reading this, and I welcome any additional ideas.

Sit without Chair or have Invisibility? Thanks for the responses. I'll try it out and tinker with it!

Sit without Chair or have Invisibility? How do I sit a character without a chair around (as if it were invisible)? Similarly, if that can't be done - can objects be hidden or made invisible?
