Share the love! Will you be our Valentine? You’re taken? OK then, well how about you show us some love by making us a Valentine’s Weekend Cover Pic for Facebook instead? Sugar High

We know how much you all love competitions and we think you can never have enough romantic competition themes in your life – so we’re looking for you all to ‘show us the love’ and put Muvizu at the heart of a design for a romantic cover pic.

The dimensions of the finished pic should be 851 x 315 pixels and while it should be generated using Muvizu you may well choose to enhance it with your own favourite image manipulation software. (Beefy tells us you all quite like doing this!)

You might find you’re inspired by your favourite romantic movie like Titanic or Romeo and Juliet or maybe personal experience has given you the love bug and you don’t need any cinematic inspiration.

Submit your entries to us in this thread by noon (GMT) on Thursday 13th of February and the winning piece will be displayed from that evening and more importantly its creator will receive one of our fun Muvizu goody bags with added goodness inside in the shape of a Bamboo graphics tablet.

Terms & Conditions
1. The promoter is Digimania Ltd, The Lighthouse, 70 Mitchell Street, Glasgow, G1 3LX UK (the "Promoter).
2. This competition will commence on 28th November 2013 and the closing date is noon GMT) on the 13th of February 2014
3. Entry into the competition is free and no purchase is necessary.
4. The prize is a Muvizu goody bag and a Bamboo Graphics Tablet.
5. This competition is open to Muvizu users around the world excluding employees of the Promoter and affiliated companies, partners, families or anyone associated with this competition. The winners will be determined at random from all submitted images that comply.
6. All entrants must upload their image to the Muvizu forum in this thread in order to be in the running.
7. The winner will be notified via email by 14th February 2014 and will also be announced here and be visible on our Facbeook page. If the winner does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the prize will be deemed to have been forfeited and the Promoter may dispose of such prize without any liability to the winner.
8. The prize is non-transferable & no cash alternative will be awarded in lieu of the prize.
9. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct or the results of the competition the Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these rules will be disqualified. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion.
10. If for any reason the prize is unavailable the Promoter reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to substitute a similar prize of equivalent value.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend, suspend or terminate this competition without prior notice in the event that circumstances make this unavoidable.
12. All entrants' personal data will only be held for the purpose of the competition and will not be used for any other purposes whatsoever without their prior permission.
13 Entry into this competition shall be deemed to be a full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
14. The prize and or the competition is not offered in conjunction with any other offers.
15. The Promoter will not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any loss, expense or liability arising from the winner's use of the prize.
16. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom and Great Britain.

We know how much you ‘super’ Muvizu fans love a bit of make-believe and character development.


We’ve been having some fun here at Muvizu with some Beefy masks. It would be awesome if some of you were up for some Beefy flavoured fun too. We wondered if we can reflect Muvizu around the world by generating some super impersonations in some recognisable locations - like ours below beneath Glasgow's most iconic traffic cone (or just in front of your PC where all your best Muvizu magic takes place if you're feeling a bit more bashful). A group or class of Beefys would be really amazing!





We hope some of you are up for creating your own Beefy mask and letting the superhero within you out to play! Simply, take our Beefy face from the links below, print him on to A4 paper, cut him out (optional: stick to card for strength) and then take a snap of you and your mask somewhere iconic in your city or town if you can. To be entered into our competition you have to upload your video to the Muvizu Gallery. Connect your Muvizu account with your YouTube and it will upload to both when you upload through Muvizu. Big Grin

Regarding email notifications A few people were worried last month that they weren’t receiving emails from us because their ‘Email notifications’ on their profile was set to ‘Off’. This was a default setting from a while back to avoid spamming users. We’re working very hard to ensure we only contact those of you that want to hear from us, without losing the chance to remind users who discovered us early on and didn’t quite get the bug how much more exciting things are round here now!


If you want to make sure you’re on our list then go to your profile > My account > Email notifications and then hit ‘On’.


My mistake it's actually Profile > My account > scroll to the bottom of the page and un-click the box if you want to hear from us. Woops! Edit


Sorry for all the confusion and we hope you look forward to hearing from us! Buddies

thanks kim, i thought it might be a browser problem at first. i remember i had problems creating my account when i first joined, i was using firefox and it wouldnt let me do anything so i tried again with IE and it went through first time. so when i tried again yesterday evening i thought id try changing my email address using IE instead but got the same result as firefox. so it wasnt that Big Grin

User survey winner! Sorry Urbanlamb, we probably should've mentioned that our last newsletter was aimed at less active Muvizuers. We wanted to find out about those users who didn't want to hear from us any more. As we evolve we're trying to be smarter with what information we share with groups amongst our audience.

The short survey told us just a bit about where people discovered us and how they are using Muvizu. Those that were willing to hear from us and to give us a little information went in to the draw for the digital tablet.
