Stack Building Segments? How do I neatly stack building segments? One segment always seems to be slightly off in alignment. I wonder if there is a "snap" feature yet. With building units, it almost seems like this could be similar to legos. Just stack and snap!

Precision Placement of Animations, and blends Thanks for your reply. Sounds good.

Precision Placement of Animations, and blends Is there a point down the road where one will be able to place the precise start and end of animations in Muvizu, as opposed to relying on timing?

Thanks.

Oh....and also down the road will mood and motion paths run on separate tracks so they can blend?

Thanks again.

Animatable objects-props Thanks for your answer mcmillan-ra. If you guys quickly throw in a grab animation and a lift and push animation, that would cover a lot of bases and allow users to fake a lot of stuff once the objects gain their own animation abilities.

Great work so far... good luck on all your efforts.

Animatable objects-props Early November sounds great. It might take me that long to create my movie in the first place. I have a few questions based on this.

1. Are you going to have props that the characters can pick up and release? Will they be able to open doors? When might this be incorporated into the game/program?

2. If not, are there some tutorials on faking it?

3. If I create a Muvizu movie file over the next 2 months, will the new release of Muvizu in November be able to open my file from the previous release? (Hopefully it will be a seamless transition!)

Thanks!

Characters with the AIR of Realism
In another thread where people other than myself were making sound comments, I stated something similar to what I will formally mention here. I understand that making characters too realistic will result in the creepiness factor of The Polar Express.

In fact some of Muvizu's competitors have a realistic look to their characters that may be a detriment for them.

However, would Muvizu consider making some characters a little more realistic? Certainly some of the characters in Pixar's The Incredibles are cartoonish while still having an 'air' realism. This is what I mean by having some characters LEAN a little more Realistic.

Thanks.

First impressions and a few hopes The adjustment to facial details would be a great start. However, ultimately I think a separate category for characters with the 'air' of realism would be perfect.

This would give greater range to the genres Muvizu could cover, and shoulder the filmmaking tempest off the pitch.

I think you've got a good point on mismatching characters, but hopefully people would pick appropriate characters for their genre. Also, they could be listed in separate categories like the sets in Muvizu are.

Body Movements Dreeko...that sounds sarcastic. I honestly think what ivandeejay is saying makes a lot of sense. What's your honest take on their point?
