Gladiators - Fight for freedom Hi muvizu team and muvizu users !

Here is my last production, a modest tribute to the Ridley Scott film.

If you have questions about the achievement, I'll be happy to answer them. At least I will try because my English is not very good :-)

Anyway, thank you for all your comments already posted. It's very encouraging !

Window object properties / complex objects (ASE) Hi,

As I already said in the post for the latest version of Muvizu, there remains a problem in the software witch is really blocking :

When importing an object from Google Skechup (ASE file), it's impossible to access to all the color/image properties when the list is too long : the window is too long and there is no vertical scrollbar, so...

Maybe, i don't do the right thing but i think it's impossible to import complex object with different textures in Muvizu, just because of this small gap in your software :-)

Feedback on Muvizu - 5th September 2011 (ENG) Hi Muvizu Team,

Beautiful new interface, but a problem persists with the window properties of an object.

I am talking about an object imported from Google Sketchup (ASE file) with many colors / images. If the color list is too long, the window over the screen and it is impossible to complete the settings. (it may be missing a scrollbar)

I hope this is understandable, my English is not very good.

Thanks again for your great software !

Various improvments Hi there,

After a long long time of using Muvizu (thanks again for your great software), here is a small list of different improvments witch are very important for my point of view to make good story telling movies :
  • Have a neutral mood (same actions with happy mood, but WITHOUT smiling)
  • Can make characters use objects and weapons (gun, sword...)
  • Have settings for the character moving speed
  • Have a larger window to adjust the camera focus distance and depth of field with more precision.
I hope, you anderstand what i wrote in english (i'm french) and it can help you :-)

Rendering thread exception Hi,

In a full empty scene, there is no problem with 10 characters, but when i create the 11th, Muvizu crashing immediatly (same message : "Rendering thread exception").
2011/6/21 9:27:33
Rendering thread exception ok, after other tests i can tell you that the problem comes from characters (even in an empty set).

With my king of graphic card, Muvizu 0.15 crash when there is too much characters in the set.

Well, i'm gonna buy a new PC with a Geforce GT 320. Hope Muvizu will running correctly :-)

Rendering thread exception Hello,

So, i confirm : if i delete the characters from the set, there is no problem to open it on the second PC (with the Radeon X1800 GTO). But, if i add news characters, Muvizu crash immediatly. I specify : this problem concern only complex set (with many objects and textures).

I also upgrade my graphic card driver (i'm using Windows XP, SP3). The problem continue.

So... i think about bying a new PC (because i want to finish my current project : MuvizuMan :-) ), but i have to know if there a list of compatible graphic cards with Muvizu ? I want to be sure before spending my money :-)

Thanks again for your help.

Rendering thread exception Hi,

The fisrt PC runs with a NVidia Quadro FX 580, and the second PC runs withs an ATI Radeon X1800.

I'll try to updating the drivers of the second PC, thanks for your help.

Just a precision : some sets works fine on both PC, so i'm going to make another test because i thinks the problem can be with the characters in the sets (i don't have this problem with sets without character).

I hold you informed...

(sorry for my english, i'm french and i don't speak well your language)
