Good things come to those who re-post beer commercials?

Or is it good things come to those who get so drunk they run out to surf and believe the waves are horses?

Hasn't anyone noticed the scale feature which has now been added to all the character attachments yet?

Y'know, I hadn't - must be getting old. You're right though, it's a great addition.

Dreeko, The Scale feature was available before (from the last update), I only know because I did it to the eyes attachment...If my memory serves me correctly? although I never noticed that it was never NOT there lol.

Hi Berty,

The AA issue was fixed for this release, or so we think

At what stage do you spot the lack of AA?

Cheers,
Marco

I think the difference is now that the scale can be adjusted in all three plane ie x,y,z instead of just a uniform scale.

Unfortunately in adding that wonderful new feature the location sliders now have a link option as well which is 'ON' by default. I am already completely fed up with this particular new addition. I rarely if ever adjust all three location sliders and have NEVER needed them linked.

I would be grateful if this option ( linked location sliders ) could be set to UNLINKED by default for the next version. Anyone else find this a right royal pain in the as well?

That's a bug that we couldn't track down and fix in time for the release. Sorry about that. We would normally have the developer in question flogged publicly, but I'm afraid he's taken the afternoon off to play with his new food dehydrator. True story.

You'll be pleased to hear that it's already fixed for the next release, whenever that is.

Thanks Neil for the quick response.

Flogging's too good for him. His eyes should be placed permanently on the back of his head. He'll need his food liquidised if I get hold of him.
I look forward to the next update as always but fear that holding my breath in anticipation may prove fatal.

EDIT: Could you please inform him on his return that I will be charging him £ 1.00 for every time I have to uncheck that box.

Marco,

It's not a lack of AA that is my problem - it is the white glow around characters.

Have a look at my post again -

http://www.muvizu.com/forum/topic2179-tech-help.aspx?p=f#post12372

Look very carefully down the left sleeve of the character (the one on our right) - the one with shadows behind it. There is a white outline which only appears when AA is on.

It doesn't look so bad in my example, but it can look really terrible in dark shadowy scenes.

Woz, we are pretty fortunate to have this awesome program for FREE, I have checked and unchecked many sliders in Muvizu to get the results I need, I think the bigger picture is when can our characters HOLD things so the criminal characters can go to to the new prison! ya know, after they rape the fields and pillage the women! (jk) lol WozToons wrote:

I was only joking. I would never dream of moaning about such a wonderful thing as Muvizu, apart from the fact that it has taken over my life and is far too addictive. Big Grin

It's just that it was something that became more difficult unnecessarily. I merely pointed it out in case no one had noticed. The request for compensation for such a serious oversight was of course wishful thinking. I never expected to get a pound a go, 50p will be more than adequate.

Hi sooo..

I haven't noticed the white lines or AA issues (jagged edges) this time, but...

the focus/depth of field seems to be a bit odd lol it kind of like focusing top half/bottom half instead of back/front hard to explain anyhow here is two screenies...one from the make video window and one me watching the clip you will see what i mean

and my graphics card is nvidia geoforces 560ti and its using direct x 9.. i have not switched to 11 yet I am scared lol but I will try that now ...

okay so i am updating this.. i switched to directx 11 and the focus/depth of field works but.. the AA is still pretty jagged .. lol sorry

i dont know if this is the best example but its much more jagged then with direct x 9 for whatever reason.. i dont understand...or maybe its my eyes and I am just being picky because I am looking for it .. dunno..

Urbanlamb - That looks weird - I've never seen that but I'll watch out for it.

The show camera window has always had a greater depth of field than the "edit / normal / full" window (not sure what it's called), but you get used to this. You can also get some strange results if you cut the depth of field right down, but I've never seen that.

The set looks amazing by the way.
