Thanks Muvizu for a great night!

Finally put faces to names!

Barry gave a presentation on the history of Muvizu and where it's heading now. Then we watched some jaw dropping sneak previews from Ziggy72's Sammamish flick and Rodney and Berty's Eye of Amun Ra blockbuster!..Can't wait for these!

We were given a tour of the Muvizu HQ where we were shown some of the new Muvizu Play features (coming to a computer near you soon!)

All in all there were good laughs, great food (and drink!) and even greater company from the best users and software company there is.

Thanks again Muvizu!

Couldn't join in (technically, I wasn't invited, but was asked for a RSVP, confusing).

What we want to know is the future of Muvizu "as it moves out of beta" and how it affects it's users.

What we saw last night was "Muvizu Play" which is to be the free version of Muvizu with an option for watermark removal for a small fee at the point of render.

It was Muvigeddon last night Amazing to meet these people who have only been names and avatars up till now - brilliant fun, although I'm still can't believe that I couldn't manage to find a simple folder on my netbook to do my presentation...I put in on there myself, how could I not find it?! Like I wasn't nervous enough already... EEK!

Still, struggled through, thank you all for the kind feedback.

And everyone, just continue on doing whatever you're doing with Muvizu - the new version adds stuff, but takes nothing away, so don't worry.*

* Unless you're about to do a whole series of 'Yo Mama So Fat' jokes, in which case hold on until the new Rosie character arrives Big Grin

okay I did see a fat lady in there ...she looked like "matilda" in iclone and I thought "ooo look new character"

anyhow I will be holding out for the version where you pay for it lock stock and barrel as they mentioned two versions

It looked good anyhow and hopefully their new version that you can get a full license to is a decent price because that is what I want cause I love to make muvies and more muvies .. and since I am approaching retiring (yes I am that old..) I will be doing stuff like this full time

Great to meet everyone who could make it last night - so that's what you all look like.

Exciting times ahead.

Best knuckle down and finish "Beware the Eye of Amun-Ra" then..........

Hey guys,
It was great to meet you all (despite invalidating the privacy policy).
I loved the trailer of Beware the Eye of Amun-Ra, and Ziggy's creepy trailer of the film, the name of which escapes me.

Thanks to Muvizu for inviting me, and everyone else who was there.

Muvizu Play looks fantastic, well worth the wait.... which may be quite long! Rosie looks creepy and the timeline has been improved a lot.

Picking up objects, however, seemed to be a hazy spot in the pre-launch party...

Thanks everyone, and I'm looking forward to Muvizu Play!

PS: Yo mama's so fat, she can't even fit into the Muvizu dome!

Yes I enjoyed meeting some of you. We had some good laughs. Looking forward to the future. I would have loved to stay online longer afterwards to see if anyone decided to stop by the camera and talk lol. I still say they should have put a beer by the camera. But grandkids were ready for me to get of the Computer and play lol. I do hope they (the staff of Muvizu) keeps a presence as they have been in the past, in the future it makes a big difference on how people see a piece of software.
Okay cya have a great weekend.

Well I've just got home after being on the train all day but it was well worth it. The 3D printers were definitely worth the trip.

Creeped out

Met some interesting people, saw some interesting stuff, ate some interesting food, laughed more than I have for ages due to the excellent company and would like to thank Ziggy for the excellent and entertaining tour of his hard drive and Rodney and Berty for teasing us yet again with a totally unrealistic release date for Amun-Ra. I tried to do my bit by banging on about holding objects all night and may have made a little progress.

Cured a few worries about the future of Muvizu, probably the booze as I am an Xmas and Birthday drinker so trying to keep up with the Scottish experts proved a little foolish without several weeks of practise. Lost my wallet so had to travel home penniless. Can't quite remember what happened after 10.30pm so if anyone who knows wants to pm me with the gory embarrassing details I would be very grateful.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Thank you Muvizu for a wonderful weekend. bowrofl

I was standing at a railway station
Had a ticket for my destination
Ooooh oooh (why do old ladies with trolleys/suitcases insist on running them over my feet)
On a tour to Muvizu
In Glasgow they charge 30p to use the loo
That's right 30p to have a...

a great time had by all! It was fantastic to put real faces to people who you have been talking to for quite sometime, although I was unsure whether the photographer was for promotional purposes or a representative of Crimewatch.

Kim deserves a medal for having to stand in a railway station waving a placard that read 'Dylly'...now I know I should have changed my screen name to 'Allo Sailor'!

Kerry deserves a medal too...both gracious hostesses.

Nice to meet the guy's from Muvizu but do forgive me...how do I put this...erm...you're not as good looking as the girls.

Some very interesting developments with Muvizu itself and I'm looking forward very much to the future!

I've got the same problem as EEFilmz, but nonetheless it will get the best place among all my trophies:
