I used to treat the Fields of Hatred like a second job: circle the same packs, scoop a few Seeds, repeat. After a while you start asking why you're even there, especially when your stash needs upgrades and you're browsing things like cheap Diablo IV Items between runs. The good news is Season 12 finally has a loop that doesn't feel like watching paint dry. If you want a real shot at a six‑figure seed haul in one sitting, you should be building your night around the Shrine of Carnage event, not random roaming.
Why Shrine of Carnage Beats Roaming The biggest difference is tempo. The Shrine of Carnage shows up on a regular rhythm, roughly every half hour, so you're not guessing or wandering. You see it on the map, you go now. The early waves are just warm-up, but they're important because they stack your kill streak and keep the seed drops steady. When people complain about "slow PvP currency," it's usually because they're spending too much time on low-density trash and not enough time inside events that actually feed you elites.
The Part Everyone Misses: Towers First Once the towers spawn, that's your priority. Not the stragglers. Not chasing a lone player across the dirt. Burn the towers down so the event can flip into its final phase. Do it fast, because this is where the payout starts to feel silly. After the towers, the whole thing turns into a mini boss rush: elite bosses rolling in one after another, dumping Seeds and pushing your streak higher. If your build can handle burst and you've got decent sustain, you'll watch your counter jump in chunks instead of trickling up.
Extraction Is the Real Fight Getting the Seeds is only half the story. The moment you're sitting on a fat stack, you're basically wearing a neon sign that says "free money." Head straight to an Altar of Extraction and don't overthink it. While the purification timer runs, keep scanning for the Effigy of the Butcher. It's risky to commit, but if you top the damage you can become the Butcher, and it changes the whole vibe. Suddenly you're the problem. More health, more pressure, and a better chance of holding your ground when other players crash the party.
Spend Smart in Town After you purify, actually use the currency instead of hoarding it forever. The PvP vendors have some of the best flex cosmetics, like the Bloody Steed mount and that mean-looking horse armor that turns heads in Kyovashad. And the Cursed Scrolls are more than novelty; the Scroll of Recklessness is great when you need to move fast, even if it nibbles your health. If you're trying to keep up with the Season 12 pace, it's hard to argue with a route that's event-heavy, boss-heavy, and lets you gear up or shortcut the grind with buy Diablo IV Items when you're back in town.At U4GM we keep Diablo 4 Season 12 farming simple: if you're chasing Seeds of Hatred, time the Shrine of Carnage (every 30 mins), clear the waves, smash the towers, then cash in on the boss spam for insane drops.
